Show Dem Camp - Farabale ft MayD(Official Video)

Show Dem Camp is out with the video of Farabale off their 'Dreamer's Project album'. The joint that has made on the hook Ghostman and Tech (SDC) spit fire on the verses. for me SDC is the best and most consistent rap group in Naija at the moment.

The Dreamer album is billed to drop later in the year and a follow up mixtape.

Beautiful video.Enjoy...

Darey - Ba Ni Kidi (Lyrics Video) + Sisi Eko

Here are the latest efforts by Darey, arguably the most consistent classic singer (my opinion), 'Sisi Eko' is a mellow feel cool RnB track while 'Ba Ni Kidi' (done in hausa accent) has a house music feel. Cant stop laughing! (The clubs definitely have got a new hit)
Enjoy!

Ruggedman Drops Album! + 'Because of You' ft MI and 2face

Ruggedman dropped his album, 'Untouchable' on Nov 24th, and although it flew under the radar of the massive hype from MI’s album, I still heard it was a pretty solid effort. The whole issue with 9ice/Toni Payne has been a very big distraction but he still put 2gether put together this massive Album that features an eye-bulging list of artist; 2face, P-Square, MI, Ice Prince, Da Grin, Flavour and a host of others
Check out 'Beacause of you' ft MI & 2face below, Rugged goes strong as usual and MI definitely spit life outa the track. it is one to put on repeat.

'Because of you' - Ruggedman ft 2face and MI

Which is the way - Dipp

It is Dipp once again felas! After what I call the most perfect Visual Effect video of the year "Pop off Selecter", Dipp is back on your screen with yet another video. This time its for 'Which is the way' a more concious tune that gets you nodding to facts about living.

"...which is the way,the price of true love dwells in your riches;  the deeper you pocket, the finer your Chick is..."...lol.

To be honest, when I first heard the 'Gear One' single, I was like "Is that Faze on the track or ...". Well as a Faze fan, I was kinda expecting more but with the video out, I still was expecting more, hmmmm...aint that what videos are meant for? Looks like a video made in a hurry though.
On the bighter side, we hear the 'Relate' album is about to hit the stores; Perfect timing.

New Video: Danny Young feat. Paul Play & Kel - My Girl

Fresh boy Danny Young is back with a new video for 'My Girl' off his 'Cross Over' album that was released last year. The video did justice to song and boy,did we miss Paul Play's face on our screen? Nice video for me.

Pictures from the Hennessy Artistry Halo Concert 2010.

The Hennessy Artistry Halo Concert 2010 was held at the GET Arena on November 27th for. Excitement, elation, fun and pleasure are some modest words that describe the experience of the night.
From the red carpet where celebrities like Olu Maintain, Caroline Ekanem, Olisa Adibua and DJ Humility strutted, to the stellar performances by living legend, Sir Shina Peters, Nneka, MI, Ice Prince and Bez, the Hennessy Halo Concert stands out as an event with exceptionally well-thought planning. Andre Blaze was the MC and with Choc Boiz in the house, the event could be nothing short of a bumper pack.

Wizkid Drops New Single - Don't Dull

Ayodeji Balogun a.k.a Wizkid kicked off his singing career as early as 11 when he recorded his first song with one of Nigeria’s celebrated music icons, OJB Jezreel. He went on to record a 7-track album, which he released in his church in Lagos, under the name of Lil’ Prinz; this was just a stint that earned him a remarkable deal of encouragement and recognition from family, his church and other artistes.

Years later in 2006, with a new name, which he picked up from a very funny incident, Wizkid got into the studio to record again; this time with HMan (OJB’s younger brother) and Ugly on a song titled ‘Naija Boy’, produced by OJB Jezreel. From that time, he continued to hone his singing skills with influences from OJB Jezreel, Ruffman, Naeto C, Ikechukwu and many others.

The 19 year old’s collaboration with M.I on “Fast Money, Fast Cars” on the Talk About It album, drew a lot of attention to his distinct voice and singing style.
He is currently signed to Banky W’s label, Empire Mates Entertainment (EME) and has dropped a number of singles including hits like 'Gidi girl' and 'Holla at your boy'.
(Credits to http://www.olamildentertainment.com for this one).

'Dont dull' is his current single (produced by Samklef) and an album is said to be coming in 2011.

Yung6ix kills Oleku!

Ice Prince’s Oleku is undoubtedly the single of the year. We’ve heard lots of remixes, yung6ix’ warri version will crack yo ribs.

Yung ’9ja Carter’ Six a.k.a Sixty, was born Onome Onokokwomo JULY 8TH 1989 in the heartland of Southern Nigeria. Though born to the upper echelons of society, he embraced the streets of Wafftown, and was raised by music. Always a musically gifted mind, Yung Six picked up the mic at a very young age. Studying the rap skills of the greatest mc’s, he created a pattern of flows so uniquely distinct that they can never be replicated. He draws his inspiration from his surrounding, and also from diverse collection of genres.
While in high school, and after a series of successful rap battles, Yung Six hooked up with a duo of like minded artists, and G-squad was formed. The group went on to win a plethora of talent shows in and around the south, garnering an ever increasing fan base.
Yung6ix - Oleku the Warri Version/South shout to 411 management lol…kid’s on fireeeeeeeee!!
After high school he directed his talents into pursuing a solo career and has recorded over 30 SONGS, not including numerous features, that got him Recognitionand the acronym “King of the South.” The future knows no bounds for this Nigerian emigma. Already a role model to the next generation, yung six plans to reach beyond the shores of Nigeria, and lead a worldwide revolution in music. He is the next best thing.
