New Music: Eldee ft. Sojay & K9 – Higher

eLDee Tha Don is out with a new joint titled 'Higher' featuring Sojay and K9. In case you are wondering who these two lads are, well they are the 1st and 2nd winners respectively from the eLDee's concluded Top Talent Contest. 'Higher' is off eLDee's yet to be released album Is It Your Money Vol 2. This track was produced by Sarz, hmm..that's kinda strange, I guess eLDee is spicing up his sounds cos he is known to produce most of his joints. Anyways, Sarz did a great job and I must say that Tribes Records chose the right people, the guys ain't bad at all...listen up and drop your comments.

Dokta Frabz is out with his new video for the track titled 'Follow Me' featuring eLDee and Shank. Dokta Frabz tells the world that other than producing music he can also write and sing as well. This joint is off his upcoming album Frabzinator which will be dropping pretty soon. This video was directed by OneSoul. For me this video rekindled my love for the song all over again...enjoy!!

New Video: Dr. Sid – Bamijo ft. Ikechukwu, MI, Eldee

The video is out people, remember we posted the trailer sometime back, well, this is the official video and its burning hott!!. 'Bamijo' is the 4th track on Dr Sid's Turning Point album and it features Nigerias' finest rappers Ikechukwu, Mr Incredible (M.I), De Don (eLDee). Dope punch lines, sick beat, synchronized dance moves, overall lovely concept. The customized jackets were made by Elevated Minds and of-course the video was directed by Sesan. This is definitely gonna hit the clubs...enjoy listening.

Come Saturday 11th June 2011, Nigeria's No.1 internet radio station, Naija Radio 234, broadcasting with the address, www.naijaradio234.com, will be having seperate web interviews with Eldee The don and Yung6ix live on the saturday celebrity chat show hosted by Dj Sarah Tee, Dj Teaser and Dj B (Blaque Pearl).

Artiste Profile: eLDee the Don

Lanre Dabiri aka “eLDee the Don” is the founder of Trybe Records. A music producer, recording artist, and a qualified architect.

Born May 23rd and raised in Kaduna, a city in Northern Nigeria, eLDee’s love for music and the arts started at a very young age.

In 1998, eLDee and his high school friend, “Kaboom” teamed up with “Freestyle”, and the group Trybesmen was born. Subsequently, eLDee founded his own independent label (Trybe Records) to support the group, and took the Nigerian music scene by storm with two hits in 1999; “Trybal Marks” and “Shake Bodi”. Trybesmen’s debut album “L.A.G. Style” was a massive hit and still a cult-classic...

The Politics Of “Our Time” By Eldee

Eldee has taken it upon himself as a patriot to join his fellow youths in the clamour for a better Nigeria. In this article,  he laments on how a certain  group has taken advantage of his initiative and manipulated it to suit their political gains.

Teasertube is hereby joining in promoting his word about being non-partisan. The commercial below was organised to encourage voters in Nigeria.

Months ago, before the 2011 voter registration exercise began in Nigeria some of us were very excited as we saw this as an opportunity to effect the much-needed change in our country. I geared up and began non-partisan campaigns aimed at youths in Nigeria to ensure that they register, vote, and protect their votes. I spent at least four to six hours everyday campaigning on social network platforms, TV/Radio, and print media.

Video: Rep 4 Naija - MTV ft. D'banj, M.I., Naeto C, El Dee, Sound Sultan others (MTV Base)

in showing their support to the current electoral process in Nigeria, MTV put together this master piece that looks like a superstar conference. Our music stars all came out in voice to say 'Rep 4 Naija', encouraging every1 to take part in choosing who leads our great nation.
Positive movement i must say from the heavy weights, we hope every1 is carried in this band wagon.

Paper Rounds: Top 10 Videos with Special Effects in 2010 by Dj Teaser

Usually at the end of every year, several reviews, analysis, top 5, top 10, top 20 even top 100 lists are released by different players in the Nigerian music industry on different topics. So like you already know its that time of the year again and the Teasertube team is out with the Top 10 Nigerian videos with special effects.
The act of using special effect is not entirely new to the industry, last year MI's Safe, Hman's Ndoli Ndoli, Dipp's Dangerous were among the videos that had mind blowing effects. This year saw an increase in the number of special effect video being released.
The criteria for the selection is first and foremost visual effects, so many quality videos released this year didn't make the list.

FOLLOW ME- DOKTA FRABZ FEAT eLDee & SHANK

The man behind so many party jams is finally stepping up to the mic in 2011. For those that don't know, he was responsible for several hits from Omawumi, was also featured by Beazy few weeks ago on 'Over and over' that was previously posted on this site.
